Working in a vintage clothing and antique store meant being surrounded by things that had belonged to other people, sometimes decades earlier. But two employees began noticing something unusual among the clothing racks near the back of the shop: fleeting glimpses of someone walking past, even when there were no customers inside.
At first, they blamed shifting clothes or tricks of the light. But the sightings continued, and both women experienced them independently.
Then, one evening after closing, an employee heard the familiar bell above the front door and saw someone moving through the store. There was just one problem: the door was locked, and nobody was there. Was a former customer still browsing the racks, or had something arrived with one of the shop’s many vintage treasures?
