She was still a child when she saw the first dark figure moving through her grandmother’s house shortly after her grandfather died. At first, she instinctively thought it was him. Then the figure stopped in the doorway and stared at her.
That was only the beginning.
Over the years, the shadow figures seemed to disappear for long stretches, only to return during some of the most painful and stressful periods of her life. Sometimes they watched from doorways.
