While the guide was telling the tragic story of the lighthouse keeper’s two young daughters who drowned when their rail cart plunged into the water, all three of them — at the exact same time — turned and looked up at the lightkeeper’s house… and there was a little girl in the upstairs window, staring down at them. The building was CLOSED. No one was supposed to be inside. At that same moment, they smelled cigar smoke — and later learned the lighthouse keeper was known for smoking cigars.
The night kept escalating. At the yellow fever cemetery, they watched a man walk toward a construction fence… and simply vanish. No opening. No door. No way out.
Some ghost tours give you stories. This one gave them proof.
