What started as a joke during a Sunday night gathering with friends may have opened the door to something none of them expected. Inspired by a television show about energy and spirituality, the group decided to try an experiment of their own. They weren’t taking it particularly seriously—until two normally calm dogs suddenly began behaving in a way that startled everyone.
In the days that followed, the strange activity seemed to spread beyond that apartment. Unusual encounters with animals, a mysterious voicemail, and unexplained electrical problems left the friends wondering whether they’d somehow attracted an unwanted presence.
Then came the dreams. Two friends experienced eerily similar encounters with an older woman who seemed determined to make herself at home. Had their harmless experiment invited something into their lives? And why did it seem so desperate to stay?
