A first ghost hunt at the Trans-Allegheny Lunatic Asylum was supposed to be exciting. It was. Until the group reached the fourth floor.
The atmosphere changed almost immediately. The spirit box became unusually active, a shadow figure appeared behind one of them, and then a clear message came through: “Get out.”
Not long afterward, one member of the group suddenly became weak and lightheaded. Her neck hurt badly—and when they checked, a fresh scratch had appeared. They got her off the floor as quickly as they could.
Later, they returned and asked the question they probably shouldn’t have asked: Who was there?
The answer that came through matched the name of a malevolent spirit they’d already been warned about. Had something on that floor been trying to scare them away…or had it chosen one of them specifically?
