A ghost tour through the historic Mansfield Reformatory sounded like the perfect mix of history and mystery. Along with several dozen other visitors—including skeptics, paranormal investigators, and curious tourists—a couple spent the evening exploring one of America’s most infamous prisons, expecting little more than a memorable night.
For most of the tour, that’s exactly what it was.
Then an unexplained event stopped an entire cell block in its tracks, leaving even the skeptics without an answer. Later, while looking through the photos they’d taken, one image stood out from all the rest. It captured something neither of them remembered seeing—and it appeared for only a single frame before vanishing from the next.
