One caller recounts the day she walked into an old 1930s house on Long Island and immediately felt summoned—like the walls themselves were saying, “We’ve been waiting for you.” All seemed well, until unexplained greetings of “hi” echoed upstairs, electronic devices blasted on at max volume, and a newly minted penny from the current year mysteriously appeared on a high ledge no one could reach. Was the house welcoming its new tenant in an oddly personal way… or warning her of something lurking in its history?
