Everyone had gone home, the café had been locked, and campus security had already checked the building. Then the alarm went off.
Two guards returned expecting to find a break-in. Instead, they spotted two men near the back of the kitchen and followed them toward the pantry.
That was where things stopped making sense.
The men walked inside—but the pantry had no other exit. Nearby utensils were swinging violently, and when security checked the room, no one was there. The newer guard was terrified.
His partner’s reaction may have been even more unsettling: apparently, this wasn’t the first strange thing security had encountered there.
