When a historic hotel was converted into apartments, one woman jumped at the chance to live there. She’d always loved the building, and she’d grown up hearing the local legend of the Lady in Red, a mysterious woman said to haunt its hallways.
Not long after moving in, she began seeing a woman dressed in clothing from another era. The encounters were strange, but it wasn’t until her third sighting that something truly unsettling happened.
Suddenly overwhelmed by an almost unbearable sadness, she found herself crying over a loss that wasn’t her own. Had she somehow experienced the emotions of a restless spirit? And could that brief connection explain why the mysterious woman never appeared to her again?
