He already knew strange things happened in the hospital.
Coworkers had reported shadow figures, apparitions, and things moving through the department that didn’t belong there. But most of it had happened with other people around.
Then came a weekend shift when he was working alone. At first, it was only a sound from one of the adjoining rooms. He assumed someone from another department had come through.
