Shortly after moving into a house in Portland with her family, she began waking up in the middle of the night to something she couldn’t explain.
Standing in the bedroom doorway was a tall, dark figure—completely black, darker than the room itself. At first she tried to ignore it, convincing herself it was just a trick of the light or a dream.
