Don never considered himself someone who had paranormal experiences. He had never seen an apparition or had anything dramatic happen around him. At most, he occasionally felt the unsettling sensation that someone might be watching him.
Growing up in an isolated house in the woods, he was used to dark nights and strange sounds. Later in life he even lived in a dorm room rumored to be haunted, but nothing ever happened that he couldn’t explain away.
Then during a college trip overseas, Don began noticing something strange about one particular place in the building where he was staying.
Every time he passed through one specific floor, he felt an overwhelming urge to get out as quickly as possible. At the time, he had no idea why.
